Learning how to keep a gratitude journal may undoubtedly be one of the most valuable things for exercising the habit of becoming a more grateful person. However, even though you may have the best intentions, you may be stuck wondering where to start.

Moreover, any time you work hard to develop a thankful attitude, you’ll be doing yourself (and those around you) a favor!

Ultimately, your gratitude journal can be comprised of whatever you want to talk about. You don’t have to stick to anything on the list.

After all, these are just ideas to get you started. I found that while I was making up the list, my mind would start on one thing and it would lead me to think of others things to be thankful for.

In addition, you don’t have to limit yourself to writing. You can draw something you’re thankful for, as well. If you’re creative, you can make artwork a part of your gratitude journal.
